Weekly Tips from Stan "Mr. Fantastic" Billue fro 5/26

POSITIVE TIP from Mr. Fanta$tic
One critical factor that most Speakers or Trainers neglect to
mention when teaching Goal Setting is what to do after you
achieve a Goal, which is to immediately set a Replacement Goal. If we don't, we run the risk of falling right back into
that comfort zone that people are in when they don't have any Goals. Yes, you should enjoy whatever it is that you just worked hard to achieve, however I urge you to decide specifically what you want to accomplish next, set a due date, write it down in the form of a positive affirmation, and
continue to grow.

SALES SKILL from Mr. Fanta$tic
In Selling 101 we learned about Open and Closed End Questions. Although Open Questions are better than Closed, if we need to find out 5 to 10 things during Qualifying, it can end up sounding like a FBI interrogation. Instead, the Super Stars use Instructional Statements, which are more conversational and less confrontational. If you'll start using; "Tell me about . . .", or "Bring me up to date on . . .", or "Share with me how . . .", you'll gather more information in less time and in a more relaxed and friendly environment.
